Description: An aura of good, evil, lawful, or chaotic energy surrounds and protects any allies within 30 feet of you. On casting, you can choose any aura that is not opposite your deity's (e.g. if your deity is chaotic good, you cannot choose a lawful or evil aura). This abjuration has the following effects:
1) First, each warded creature gains advantage on saves and all attacks are made against them at disadvantage. Unlike protection, this benefit applies against all attacks, not just against attacks by creatures of the opposite alignment.
2) Second, each warded creature gains spell resistance 25 against spells of the opposite alignment or by any spell cast by a foe of the opposite alignment.
3) Third, the aura blocks possession and mental influence, just as protection does.
4) Finally, the aura is harmful to creatures of the opposite alignment if they succeed on a melee attack against a warded creature. Good auras permanently blind evil creatures, evil auras inflict 1d6 strength damage on good creatures, chaotic auras make lawful creatures confused for 1 round, and lawful auras slow chaotic creatures for the duration of the spell. These effects are all negated with a successful Con save.
