Description: You throw a weapon in the general direction of your target. As it flies through the air, the weapon transforms into a weapon-shaped object of pure radiant force that floats in the air and attacks any target you pick. This new spiritual weapon deals force damage with the same amount as the physical weapon plus your WIS bonus. Any enchantment bonuses from magical weapons also apply to its spiritual form, but no other magical enhancements (flaming, bane, frost, etc.) to the weapon remain in effect. However, the weapon does retain all the mundane weapon properties (reach, critical, etc.), except for material-based properties (cold iron, silver, etc.).

The weapon strikes the opponent you designate, starting with one attack in the round the spell is cast and continuing each round thereafter on your turn. The weapon attacks using your spell attack bonus to hit. It can also strike incorporeal creatures normally. The target is considered threatened by the weapon at all times, which can make one attack of opportunity per round.

Each round after the first, you can use a bonus action to redirect the weapon to a new target. If you do not, the weapon continues to attack its current target, automatically following that target (if necessary) on your turn. If the weapon cannot follow its current target because of a physical or magical barrier, if the target goes beyond the spell range, if the weapon would have to move out of your sight, or if you are unconscious or dead, then the weapon returns to you and hovers.

After the spell duration expires at the end of your turn, the weapon returns to its physical form, dropping to the ground where it last hovered. You may use your bonus action on that last turn to return the weapon to you. A spiritual weapon cannot be attacked or harmed by physical attacks, but dispel magic or a rod of cancellation will end the spell and return the weapon to its physical form immediately. Disintegrate, a sphere of annihilation, or similar effect will destroy the weapon entirely. A spiritual weapon's AC against touch attacks is 12.

Leveling: At 3rd level, roll three damage dice instead of one (e.g. a medium weapon that does 1d8 damage will become a 3d8 spiritual weapon). At 4th level, roll five dice. Any modifiers for enchantment are only applied once.
